# Beverage Boss vs Unicorn Auctions

The clearest difference is ads: Unicorn Auctions at none against Beverage Boss's shown. Unicorn Auctions also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 5) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). Beverage Boss's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Unicorn Auctions holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unicorn Auctions has 3.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Beverage Boss's written reviews are positive against 94% of Unicorn Auctions's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Beverage Boss ships an update every 6 weeks, Unicorn Auctions every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
