# Flip Dunk vs Super Flip Star

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Super Flip Star at 100% against Flip Dunk's 46%. Super Flip Star also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Flip Dunk's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (336K vs 9). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flip Dunk sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Super Flip Star asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flip Dunk holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip Dunk has 336K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Flip Dunk's written reviews are positive against 100% of Super Flip Star's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flip Dunk ships an update every 2 months, Super Flip Star weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
