# Alight Motion vs SelfieGlowCam

The clearest difference is rating: SelfieGlowCam at 5.0 against Alight Motion's 4.4. SelfieGlowCam also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 62%) and ads (none vs shown). Alight Motion's advantage is ratings volume (80K vs 4) and chart position (#67 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alight Motion sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and SelfieGlowCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SelfieGlowCam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alight Motion has 80K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Alight Motion's written reviews are positive against 100% of SelfieGlowCam's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
