# Alight Motion vs Deviant Art

The clearest difference is rating: Alight Motion at 4.4 against Deviant Art's 3.6. Alight Motion also leads on review sentiment (62% vs 20%) and ratings volume (80K vs 50). Deviant Art's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alight Motion sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Deviant Art sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alight Motion holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alight Motion has 80K ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Alight Motion's written reviews are positive against 20% of Deviant Art's.

Alight Motion ships an update fortnightly, Deviant Art every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
