# Classy FM vs Station Six

The clearest difference is update cadence: Station Six at every 2 months against Classy FM's every 7 months. Station Six also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Classy FM against 5.0 for Station Six. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Station Six has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Classy FM ships an update every 7 months, Station Six every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
