# Chomp vs Parrot

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chomp at 100% against Parrot's 45%. Chomp also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). Parrot's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 41 months) and ratings volume (17K vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parrot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Chomp asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chomp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parrot has 17K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Chomp's written reviews are positive against 45% of Parrot's.

Chomp ships an update every 41 months, Parrot every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
