# Gem vs Tiny Tots

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Gem at 981 against Tiny Tots's 12. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Gem against 4.8 for Tiny Tots. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gem has 981 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of Gem's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tiny Tots's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
