# ORSurf vs TOR Web Browser VPN proxy web

The clearest difference is rating: TOR Web Browser VPN proxy web at 4.7 against ORSurf's 3.7. TOR Web Browser VPN proxy web also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months). ORSurf's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 13%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ORSurf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and TOR Web Browser VPN proxy web sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
