# US Mobile vs KOT

The clearest difference is rating: KOT at 4.8 against US Mobile's 4.1. US Mobile's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KOT sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. US Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

KOT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: US Mobile has 2K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of US Mobile's written reviews are positive against 50% of KOT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

US Mobile ships an update weekly, KOT every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
