# Digital Medic vs HWell

The clearest difference is update cadence: HWell at fortnightly against Digital Medic's every 2 months. Digital Medic's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Digital Medic against 5.0 for HWell. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Medic has 22 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Digital Medic ships an update every 2 months, HWell fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
