# Fresh Thyme vs Fruitful Yield

The clearest difference is rating: Fresh Thyme at 3.9 against Fruitful Yield's 2.4. Fresh Thyme also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 23). Fruitful Yield's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fresh Thyme holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fresh Thyme has 1.7K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Fresh Thyme's written reviews are positive against 14% of Fruitful Yield's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
