# Cool VPN Pro vs AHA VPN

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Cool VPN Pro at 42K against AHA VPN's 117. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cool VPN Pro sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and AHA VPN sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AHA VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cool VPN Pro has 42K ratings behind it against 117, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Cool VPN Pro's written reviews are positive against 73% of AHA VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cool VPN Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, AHA VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
