# SyncOnSet 5.0 vs Swiftpoint

The clearest difference is rating: Swiftpoint at 3.0 against SyncOnSet 5.0's 1.7. Swiftpoint also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 15.1). SyncOnSet 5.0's advantage is ratings volume (61 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Swiftpoint holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SyncOnSet 5.0 has 61 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of SyncOnSet 5.0's written reviews are positive against 0% of Swiftpoint's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
