# Alight Well vs Spark Direct

Alight Well and Spark Direct both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Spark Direct's written reviews are positive against 4% of Alight Well's. Alight Well's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 19). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Alight Well against 4.8 for Spark Direct. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alight Well has 1.9K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 4% of Alight Well's written reviews are positive against 67% of Spark Direct's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
