# Studocu vs Socranotes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Socranotes at 100% against Studocu's 48%. Socranotes also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Studocu's advantage is ratings volume (5.8K vs 4) and chart position (#193 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Studocu sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per 3 months and Socranotes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Socranotes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Studocu has 5.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Studocu's written reviews are positive against 100% of Socranotes's.

Studocu ships an update weekly, Socranotes fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
