# Studocu vs AI Lecture Note Taker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AI Lecture Note Taker at 100% against Studocu's 48%. Studocu's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (5.9K vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Studocu sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per 3 months and AI Lecture Note Taker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Studocu holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Studocu has 5.9K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Studocu's written reviews are positive against 100% of AI Lecture Note Taker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Studocu ships an update weekly, AI Lecture Note Taker every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
