# AirModo vs DroConnect

The clearest difference is rating: DroConnect at 5.0 against AirModo's 4.6. DroConnect also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). AirModo's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DroConnect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AirModo has 18 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AirModo ships an update every 3 months, DroConnect every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
