# Dash vs Equalizer Fx

The clearest difference is rating: Equalizer Fx at 3.8 against Dash's 3.1. Equalizer Fx also leads on ratings volume (41 vs 8). Dash's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 33%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Equalizer Fx sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Equalizer Fx holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Equalizer Fx has 41 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Dash's written reviews are positive against 33% of Equalizer Fx's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dash ships an update monthly, Equalizer Fx every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
