# CMSC Meetings vs PASS

The clearest difference is update cadence: PASS at every 3 months against CMSC Meetings's every 8 months. PASS also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CMSC Meetings ships an update every 8 months, PASS every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
