# Outly vs LandOverlay

The clearest difference is price: Outly at Free against LandOverlay's $2.99. Outly also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). LandOverlay's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Outly is free to download; LandOverlay costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LandOverlay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Outly has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Outly ships an update every 6 weeks, LandOverlay every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
