# Sun Tracker AR vs Sophiana

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Sun Tracker AR at 1.1K against Sophiana's 27. Sophiana's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sun Tracker AR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sophiana sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Sun Tracker AR against 4.7 for Sophiana. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sun Tracker AR has 1.1K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of Sun Tracker AR's written reviews are positive against 82% of Sophiana's.

Sun Tracker AR ships an update every 10 days, Sophiana every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
