# Perfect Journal vs FromMe

The clearest difference is update cadence: FromMe at every 5 days against Perfect Journal's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perfect Journal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and FromMe sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
