# Swig Drinks vs Dippys

The clearest difference is rating: Dippys at 5.0 against Swig Drinks's 4.1. Swig Drinks's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dippys holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swig Drinks has 510 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Swig Drinks ships an update every 5 weeks, Dippys every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and June 11, 2026 respectively.
