# iTourTranslator vs Immersive Translate

The clearest difference is rating: Immersive Translate at 4.6 against iTourTranslator's 4.0. Immersive Translate also leads on device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTourTranslator sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Immersive Translate sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Immersive Translate holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 271 and 561 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of iTourTranslator's written reviews are positive against 71% of Immersive Translate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iTourTranslator ships an update every 3 weeks, Immersive Translate fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
