# iTourTranslator vs Echo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Echo at every 3 days against iTourTranslator's every 3 weeks. Echo also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%). iTourTranslator's advantage is ratings volume (271 vs 3) and rating (4.0 vs 3.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTourTranslator sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Echo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iTourTranslator holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iTourTranslator has 271 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of iTourTranslator's written reviews are positive against 100% of Echo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iTourTranslator ships an update every 3 weeks, Echo every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
