# 记乎 vs WinkNotes

The clearest difference is rating: WinkNotes at 4.8 against 记乎's 4.2. WinkNotes also leads on ratings volume (129 vs 35). 记乎's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 记乎 sells 16 one-off in-app purchases and WinkNotes sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WinkNotes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 35 and 129 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of 记乎's written reviews are positive against 78% of WinkNotes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

记乎 ships an update every 2 days, WinkNotes weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
