# Samsara Fleet vs MECP Certification

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Samsara Fleet at none against MECP Certification's 11. Samsara Fleet also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). MECP Certification's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MECP Certification sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Samsara Fleet asks for nothing beyond the download.

MECP Certification holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Samsara Fleet has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
