# Kamoer Remote vs Reef.Tools

The clearest difference is rating: Reef.Tools at 3.0 against Kamoer Remote's 1.5. Reef.Tools also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). Kamoer Remote's advantage is ratings volume (83 vs 2) and review sentiment (10% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Reef.Tools holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kamoer Remote has 83 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Kamoer Remote's written reviews are positive against 0% of Reef.Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kamoer Remote ships an update every 3 weeks, Reef.Tools daily. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
