# LookCam vs EaiSmartCloud

The clearest difference is rating: LookCam at 3.9 against EaiSmartCloud's 1.0. LookCam also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). EaiSmartCloud's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LookCam sells 16 one-off in-app purchases and EaiSmartCloud sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LookCam holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LookCam has 2.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LookCam ships an update monthly, EaiSmartCloud every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
