# LookCam vs Eysky

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Eysky at 67% against LookCam's 14%. Eysky also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 16) and ads (none vs shown). LookCam's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 2). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LookCam sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Eysky asks for nothing beyond the download.

LookCam holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LookCam has 2.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of LookCam's written reviews are positive against 67% of Eysky's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
