# Speed VPN vs ANYCONTROL

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ANYCONTROL at none against Speed VPN's 10. ANYCONTROL also leads on iOS requirement (11.1 vs 16.6). Speed VPN's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (67 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed VPN sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. ANYCONTROL asks for nothing beyond the download.

Speed VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed VPN has 67 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Speed VPN ships an update every 6 weeks, ANYCONTROL every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
