# Speed VPN vs Lockory

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lockory at every 4 days against Speed VPN's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed VPN sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Lockory sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speed VPN ships an update every 6 weeks, Lockory every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
