# KFPanda Player vs Castly+

The clearest difference is rating: Castly+ at 4.7 against KFPanda Player's 3.5. Castly+ also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 683) and chart position (#113 vs unranked). KFPanda Player's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Castly+ sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. KFPanda Player asks for nothing beyond the download.

Castly+ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Castly+ has 13K ratings behind it against 683, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of KFPanda Player's written reviews are positive against 36% of Castly+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KFPanda Player ships an update every 2 weeks, Castly+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
