# Bansa vs DU

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DU at 71% against Bansa's 40%. Bansa's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bansa sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DU sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bansa holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 24 and 33 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Bansa's written reviews are positive against 71% of DU's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bansa ships an update every 5 weeks, DU every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
