# TVN Pass vs Passline App

The clearest difference is rating: TVN Pass at 4.5 against Passline App's 3.0. TVN Pass also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 4) and device support (4 vs 2). Passline App's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 11%) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TVN Pass sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Passline App asks for nothing beyond the download.

TVN Pass holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TVN Pass has 1.2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of TVN Pass's written reviews are positive against 50% of Passline App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TVN Pass ships an update every 3 weeks, Passline App every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
