The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fanaty at none against Baloa's 2. Fanaty also leads on ratings volume (87 vs 13). Baloa's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baloa sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Fanaty asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Fanaty against 4.6 for Baloa.
