# Garmin Dive™ vs True Trainer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Garmin Dive™ at none against True Trainer's 13. Garmin Dive™ also leads on ratings volume (852 vs 11). True Trainer's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. True Trainer sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Garmin Dive™ asks for nothing beyond the download.

True Trainer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8.
