# GoFiltr vs AlterMe

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AlterMe at 64% against GoFiltr's 19%. AlterMe also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.9) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). GoFiltr's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
