# Learn Languages with LingoKing vs TalkHere

The clearest difference is update cadence: TalkHere at every 3 days against Learn Languages with LingoKing's every 2 weeks. TalkHere also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and ratings volume (170 vs 21). Learn Languages with LingoKing's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Languages with LingoKing sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and TalkHere sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TalkHere holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TalkHere has 170 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Learn Languages with LingoKing's written reviews are positive against 98% of TalkHere's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Learn Languages with LingoKing ships an update every 2 weeks, TalkHere every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
