# Mesmerize vs Flowly

Mesmerize and Flowly both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of Flowly's written reviews are positive against 34% of Mesmerize's. Flowly also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Mesmerize's advantage is ratings volume (57K vs 407). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mesmerize sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Flowly sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Mesmerize against 4.6 for Flowly. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mesmerize has 57K ratings behind it against 407, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 34% of Mesmerize's written reviews are positive against 85% of Flowly's.

Mesmerize ships an update every 3 weeks, Flowly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
