# Mesmerize vs Woddle Cards Evolution

The clearest difference is monetization model: Woddle Cards Evolution at free with in-app purchases against Mesmerize's subscription. Woddle Cards Evolution also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Mesmerize's advantage is ratings volume (57K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mesmerize sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Woddle Cards Evolution sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Woddle Cards Evolution holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mesmerize has 57K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mesmerize ships an update every 3 weeks, Woddle Cards Evolution weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
