# Spear Online vs Flex Mobile App

The clearest difference is rating: Spear Online at 4.9 against Flex Mobile App's 4.0. Spear Online also leads on ratings volume (802 vs 13). Flex Mobile App's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 64%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spear Online holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spear Online has 802 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Spear Online's written reviews are positive against 75% of Flex Mobile App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spear Online ships an update every 2 months, Flex Mobile App monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
