# Awan Gas vs SANDISK

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Awan Gas at 67% against SANDISK's 21%. Awan Gas also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). SANDISK's advantage is ratings volume (24K vs 33) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SANDISK holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SANDISK has 24K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Awan Gas's written reviews are positive against 21% of SANDISK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Awan Gas ships an update monthly, SANDISK every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
