# StuLOG vs StudyLog

The clearest difference is rating: StuLOG at 4.9 against StudyLog's 4.2. StuLOG also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). StudyLog's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StuLOG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StudyLog sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StuLOG holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of StuLOG's written reviews are positive against 50% of StudyLog's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

StuLOG ships an update every 2 months, StudyLog every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
