# Focos Live vs Portrait Video

The clearest difference is update cadence: Portrait Video at weekly against Focos Live's monthly. Focos Live's advantage is ratings volume (5.5K vs 302) and review sentiment (56% vs 46%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focos Live sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Portrait Video sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Focos Live against 4.5 for Portrait Video. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focos Live has 5.5K ratings behind it against 302, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Focos Live's written reviews are positive against 46% of Portrait Video's.

Focos Live ships an update monthly, Portrait Video weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
