# QuickQ VPN vs LeapVPN

The clearest difference is rating: LeapVPN at 4.7 against QuickQ VPN's 3.8. LeapVPN also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 484). QuickQ VPN's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuickQ VPN sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and LeapVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LeapVPN holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LeapVPN has 4.4K ratings behind it against 484, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of QuickQ VPN's written reviews are positive against 62% of LeapVPN's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
