# Quantum Frequency Technologies vs RetroActiv

The clearest difference is rating: RetroActiv at 5.0 against Quantum Frequency Technologies's 4.1. Quantum Frequency Technologies's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (21 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quantum Frequency Technologies sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and RetroActiv sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RetroActiv holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quantum Frequency Technologies has 21 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Quantum Frequency Technologies ships an update every 6 weeks, RetroActiv every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
