# Ys2 vs Clones

The clearest difference is ads: Clones at none against Ys2's shown. Clones also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days). Ys2's advantage is iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ys2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Clones sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ys2 ships an update every 10 days, Clones every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
