# FPV GO vs W

FPV GO and W both sit at 2.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 20% of W's written reviews are positive against 0% of FPV GO's. W also leads on ratings volume (29 vs 4). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FPV GO holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: W has 29 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of FPV GO's written reviews are positive against 20% of W's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
