# Wallpy vs Zero

The clearest difference is ads: Wallpy at none against Zero's shown. Wallpy also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 10) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). Zero's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.3 vs 18.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wallpy sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Zero sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Wallpy against 4.8 for Zero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wallpy has 1.3K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wallpy ships an update every 6 weeks, Zero every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
